Wide accessible pathways

There is a clear run from one end of the Gower to the City of Swansea that overlooks the sea from every position. It’s an easy to follow path that is virtually all flat and either tarmac or concrete.

Cyclists, joggers and walkers use the route regularly and from experience a regular trail for skaters on inlines or quads. It occasionally has minor deposits of sand that wouldn’t present any problems, but caution should be taken nevertheless..

Either end and many places in between you can stop for hot and cold refreshments, meals and snacks. Wherever you stop you’re normally close to the sea or the Marina at the town end of the route. Spanning approximately 5 miles, it’s an easy place to cover both ways without any obstacles.

There are designated pathways for cyclists where any mode of wheeled access is shared, avoiding pedestrians easily on this wide pathway across the sea front.

One of the most picturesque trail skating routes in Wales.
